I currently own and operate The AMA Fight Club here in Whippany, NJ. I opened AMA in 2004 after many years of training in Hom Do, Jiu Jitsu & Muay Thai. I received my Instructor ranking in Muay Thai under Master Kumron Vaitayanon (Master K) in 2005 & also hold a black belt in the combative martial art of Hom-Do under Tom Patire.
In addition to my duties at AMA, I am also the CEO of MVC Sports Management which is an industry leader in mixed martial arts sports management representing over 30 athletes & models including 4 UFC fighters.
Prior to opening AMA in 2004, I was a Bodyguard For State Of The Art Security Agency (SASA) & a Tactical Instructor at ITC which was a training camp that multiple law enforcement agencies sent their personnel to get trained in hand to hand combat as well as tactical shooting.
As an instructor at ITC, I had the pleasure to work with The United States Postal Service SERT team as well as multiple officers from The Morris County SERT team, NJ State Police and The United States Marshal Service just to name a few.
ITC also served as a certification course for entry level executive protection agents which during my tenure, I was fortunate enough to be one of the Instructors that certified martial arts legends such as Master Ernie Reyes, World Champion Kick Boxer Kathy Long, and Judo legend Mike Swain.
As a bodyguard & trainer, I have worked everywhere from here to London to Asia. Some of my favorite bodyguard jobs took place working as the Detail Leader for the 2003 Grammy awards at Madison Square Garden, & multiple close quarter protection details in the Phillipines.
