Congratulations to Corey Bleaken on receiving his blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from Jamie Cruz! An accomplished wrestler, Corey has the distinction of being a 2-time New Jersey State Place Winner, 3 time All-American at Cumberland University and capped off his senior year by claiming the NAIA National title! Corey has made a great transition from wrestling to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Jamie Cruz. Congratulations Corey!!!

AMA Muay Thai Instructor’s To Do Battle!

Saturday December 3rd at Robert J. Collins Arena at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ, AMA Muay Thai instructors Amr Ibrahim and Sean “Woody” Woodham will be fighting on The Warrior’s Cup XIII. This card will feature a plethora of fights in varying weight classes, with participants from all over North America including some amateur and pro fights with FULL MUAY THAI RULES! That means kneeing to the face, and elbowing will be permitted. For those who don’t know New Jersey recently took a big step in passing a unified Muay Thai rules set that allows for full rules fights!

Amr is Slated to fight Javon Davis of OSMA/Warriors Gym (Virginia) at 185lbs in the Amateur Cruiserweight Division, while Woody will be fighting Chris Roeck of Impact Muay Thai/Kurt Pellegrino (New Jersey) at 175lbs in the Amateur Light Heavyweight Division. This will be both Amr and Woody’s 3rd amateur fight. It will be, however, Amr’s first under new AMA Muay Thai head trainer Kaensak Sor Ploenjit, and Woody’s second. Both have an amateur record of 1-1 that they will be looking to improve upon.Come out and support local Muay Thai our AMA Muay Thai Fighters! Shows such as The Warrior’s Cup are a big step in the right direction for the sport in our area, and a good way to showcase to the world that America is coming up in the Muay Thai realm and has talented Nak Muay who can compete on an international level! Congratulations Adlan!

Congratulations to Adlan “The Wolf” Amagov on his first round KO victory over Anthony Smith at Strikeforce Challengers 20 wich was aired LIVE on Showtime.

Adlan controlled where the fight went with a takedown and after a stand up Adlan connected on a Huge Right hand that put Smith to sleep. The punch was so devastating that it sent Smiths tooth through his mouthpiece and clear through his cheek.

Keep your eyes and ears open and watch for Adlan to continue his rise through the ranks!
